Honeyed colors

Do you know you can make watercolors out of honey? And that honeycomb structures are the most efficient way to organize the space? Thanks to bees artists can work with a variety of materials in techniques like encaustic, investment casting or reservations. However it seems we won’t enjoy anymore of those precious gifts as far as the population in the hives fall dramatically.

In our last session we made our own homemade honeybased watercolor with natural pigments and then we try them on a honeycomb structure mosaic.
